SPCA vets

The Royal New Zealand Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has an invaluable role in looking after animals that have been lost, abandoned or mistreated, or need medical care. Veterinary staff Jenny Waters and Anthony Wong, from the Wellington SPCA, operate on a pet dog that had been badly treated and needed immediate attention for a deep wound in its chest, in December 1996.
