Wellington Working Men’s Club

Urban working-class immigrants brought their own institutions to New Zealand, such as working men’s clubs. In this photo three members of the Wellington branch, Johnny McGuigan, Bud Millar and Owen Banks, enjoy a beer on the centenary of the club’s founding.
