Indian garden, Hamilton Gardens

Hamilton’s public garden celebrates the history of gardens throughout the world, and features gardens designed in different international styles. This is the char bagh garden – an enclosed pleasure garden that was popular with the Indian aristocracy in the 16th and 17th centuries.
