Kiwifruit orchard, Te Puke

Organic kiwifruit grower Leo Whittle inspects his orchard at daybreak. Kiwifruit is one of the most successful crops for organic growers. Many kiwifruit growers converted to organic methods during the 1990s because they could earn 50% more than for conventionally grown fruit.
