Tank Farm (1st of 2)

Tank Farm

For decades the Tank Farm on Auckland’s waterfront housed petro-chemical, bulk liquid, fish and marine industries. In 2007 a redevelopment was planned, including marine activities, shops, apartments and public space. Central to the 20-year scheme is local government’s desire to make the waterfront more accessible. A large park is earmarked for the headland, with space for an iconic building like Sydney’s opera house.
