Wax comb preparation

Here, a sheet of beeswax is being imprinted with a honeycomb pattern, before being cut into smaller sheets as a base for beehive trays. The wax is made from cappings of honey-filled cells, which have been melted, filtered and pressed into rolls of wax sheeting.
