Dead koi carp

Department of Conservation worker Tom Rouse stands with a collection of dead koi carp in Palmerston North. A local landowner found the fish in an ornamental pond on her Awahuri farm. The pond was drained, exposing 216 koi, some up to 45 centimetres long.
