Story: Coarse fish

Rudd (1st of 2)


Rudd were illegally imported into New Zealand in 1967. They were subsequently released into waterways and are now well established, especially in the Waikato River catchment. Rudd are sometimes confused with perch, but perch have two dorsal fins.
