Laying phosphorised bait

This man is laying phosphorised pollard (wheat bran) around a rabbit warren, in 1960. Rabbits are naturally attracted to fresh scratching in the soil, so he uses a mattock to turn over a sod, and then places the poisoned bait on the fresh dirt.
