Ōkoroire sanatorium (2nd of 2)

Ōkoroire sanatorium

This larger view of the Ōkoroire hot springs was photographed by George Valentine in the 1880s. At this stage there was a sanatorium besides the springs. Today there is hotel and a golf course on the site, and water from the hot springs is still used for bathing.
