Piopiotahi–Milford Sound Marine Reserve

Created in 1993, the Piopiotahi–Milford Sound Marine Reserve is one of 10 marine reserves protecting fiord and coastal ecosystems in the Fiordland area. In 2007 New Zealand had 31 marine reserves.
