Mountain toatoa

Mountain toatoa

Mountain toatoa is a common shrub of subalpine and alpine habitats. Its phylloclades are bright green or blue-green. It often forms a wide-spreading bush, as its lower branches take root when they touch the ground, sending up new growth.
