Hamish Murphy’s Thai wedding

Hamish Murphy’s Thai wedding

One of the main ways that Thai women have emigrated to New Zealand is by marrying Kiwi men. Suwan (pictured in the photographs) was refused a visa to enter New Zealand after she married Wellingtonian Hamish Murphy in Thailand, but she was later granted permanent residency and the couple reunited in May 1998.
