Playing the pūtorino

Awhina Tamarapa (affiliated with the Ngāti Kahungunu and Ngāti Ruanui tribes) plays the pūtorino. Raukatauri, the goddess of flute music, was one of the group convened by Hineteiwaiwa to capture Kae, the priest who ate Tinirau’s pet whale.
