Skittle alley bowls (2nd of 2)

Skittle alley bowls

These skittle alley bowls, now preserved in Russell Museum in the Bay of Islands, are all that remain of a 19th-century skittle alley that once stood in the town’s centre, near present-day York Street. Their battered appearance shows they were well-used.
