Story: Tāwhirimātea – the weather

Cicada song

Listen to the song of the cicada or kihikihi, which conjures up images of hot summer days. Cicadas and crickets are known as the songbirds of the summer star Rehua (Antares), because their song heralds the arrival of warmer weather.
