The strength of the Social Credit vote in 1975 is clear in this electoral map. In 15 electorates the party won 10% or more of the votes cast. Hobson and Rangitīkei voters were particularly enthusiastic, giving Social Credit 29% and 36% respectively. In the other 13 electorates the count was between 10 and 17%.
