Documentary on the Exclusive Brethren, 2005

From the early 1990s, with the support of NZ On Air, there was an increase in television documentaries commissioned from independent producers. Many were shown in anthology series covering separate one-off subjects. A highly successful anthology series was Inside New Zealand, which appeared on TV3 from 1991 to 2007, and included this investigation of the Exclusive Brethren, also exploring the effects on those who leave the faith. The programme was produced by Top Shelf Productions, which made over 600 hours of documentary and factual programmes from 1988.
