New fabrics (1st of 7)

In the 2010s AgResearch scientists developed a new merino-based fabric containing an anti-bacterial agent that resisted odour. This meant it needed less washing and was therefore more environmentally sustainable. AgResearch hoped to find a business partner to take their invention to the market. In this promotional video we see fashion designers' response to the fabric and whether they would use it.
