Story: Hip hop

The Royal Family in action

Parris Goebel's Palace Dance Studio in Auckland was home to the internationally successful crews ReQuest, Sorority, Bubblegum and the Royal Family megacrew. These crews were a force to be reckoned with. The Royal Family megacrew are shown here at the 2013 hip hop championships in Las Vegas. They won gold medals in their category that year, as well as in 2011 and 2012. Bubble Gum won silver in the junior division, and Sorority won bronze in the varsity division.
