Department of Māori Affairs magazines

Māori magazines were often published by the Māori Affairs Department, and later by its successor, Te Puni Kōkiri. These four magazines, beginning with Te Ao Hou and ending with the contemporary magazine Kōkiri Paetae, are periodicals that give an insight into te ao Māori – the Māori world.
