Story: Māori fiction – ngā tuhinga paki

Witi Ihimaera book covers

Witi Ihimaera has been a prolific author since his first book, the short-story collection Pounamu, pounamu, was published in 1972, notwithstanding his 10-year self-imposed break from writing in the 1970s and 1980s. This is a small selection of his work.
