Urban marae

This shows the location of four significant pan-tribal marae in New Zealand. Hoani Waititi marae in Auckland, Pipitea marae in Wellington and Arai Te Uru marae in Dunedin were all opened in 1980. Ngā Hau e Whā National marae was opened in Christchurch in 1990.
