Incomes of Māori

Incomes of Māori

This graph shows the reported average total income (which includes benefits, but not taxes) of Māori in census returns relative to the average income of all New Zealanders. The graph suggests that there has been a reduction in the income gap between Māori and the population as whole since 1991, and that Māori women are closer in terms of earnings to all women than Māori men are to all men.
