Change in CPI, 2000–2008

This graph of the consumer price index (CPI) shows how much (in proportionate terms) the prices of goods and services bought by a typical New Zealand household increased in 2008 compared with the prices a decade previously. The CPI is issued by Statistics New Zealand each quarter of the year.
