‘The sportsman’s paradise’

‘The sportsman’s paradise’

This poster was created by artist Harry Rountree in the 1920s, and the image was also used in a series of tourist stamps issued around 1935. It was probably part of a promotional drive by the New Zealand Government Publicity Office to lure overseas anglers to the Bay of Islands.
