This poster, dating from before 1960, enjoins New Zealanders to 'fly TEAL to Fiji'. Many accepted the invitation. Initially TEAL (Tasman Empire Airways Ltd) used flying boats (like the one depicted in the background) on the 'Coral Route', but changed to land planes in 1960.
