This 1949 Labour campaign pamphlet, written in Māori and English, is aimed at Māori voters. Depicted on the cover is Peter Buck (also known as Te Rangi Hīroa), a medical doctor who had represented the Northern Māori electorate for the Liberal Party before the Labour Party was formed. This pamphlet quotes him as crediting Labour for 'the incredible strides made by the Maori people'.
