This poster advertising privacy awareness week was published by the privacy commissioner in 2010. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner was established by the Privacy Act 1993 as an independent Crown entity. Other examples of this type of Crown entity are the Law Commission and the Broadcasting Standards Authority.
