Dental health poster, 1950s

This Department of Health poster promotes the importance of dental health. Three Māori children stand in front of a wharenui (meeting house) brushing their teeth, emphasising that the message is aimed at Māori. The phrase over the doorway of the house, ‘Kia u ki te pai’, means do the right thing.
