Recruiting farmers of the future

In recent years the shortage of skilled labour in some areas of farming has become acute. One of the functions of the Agriculture Industry Training Organisation is to encourage young people into the industry. It provides on-farm training by advisors who monitor students’ progress as they advance through the programme. This advertisement is designed to attract young people into the industry.
