Hockey 'suitable for girls'?, 1914

The vigorous nature of hockey caused many early observers to question whether it should be played by girls on the same terms as boys. This 1914 article from Wellington newspaper the Evening Post suggests that girls' games should be postponed 'when the weather is unpropitious'.
