Becoming a citizen

After he had received his certificate of naturalisation, Aleksander took the oath of allegiance. He received a letter from the Department of Internal Affairs outlining his new responsibilities as a citizen under the Electoral Act, congratulating him on becoming a citizen, and asking him to return his now superseded certificate of registration as an alien.
