Comparing qualifications

After the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) was introduced, some secondary schools criticised it for what they described as 'soft options', and instead coached students for the University of Cambridge International Exams. This cartoon suggests that the choice between the two examinations was stark, an opinion not shared by many teachers.
