Fetus Productions (1st of 2)

Fetus Productions

Originally associated with Elam Art School, Fetus Productions' combination of experimental film and music was pioneering in the 1980s. The group’s members worked collectively and were influenced by punk and performance art. This three-channel video-projection installation 'Fetus Reproductions' was made in 2002 and bought by Auckland Art Gallery. A co-founder of Fetus Productions, Jed Town, re-worked their original footage using contemporary digital technology to produce this work.
