Aotearoa Fisheries Limited (AFL) owns a number of fisheries and seafood-related companies, and is the Māori shareholder in Sealord Group. The logo represents a Māori conception of New Zealand, with the North Island in the shape of the fish of Māui (a stingray), the South Island his waka (canoe) and Stewart Island the anchor.
