This photograph taken by Steffano Webb in 1910 shows Robert Falcon Scott (second from left) with his wife Kathleen Bruce Scott on Ōtamahua (Quail Island). They are watching ponies being trained for use on Scott’s Terra Nova Antarctic expedition of 1910–13.
