Destiny Shelford-Green was able to play football for the first time thanks to support from the Halberg Foundation. The Papatoetoe local has cerebral palsy and has undergone multiple leg and spinal surgeries. The foundation helped establish an adapted football programme at Papatoetoe United Football Club.
