Anzac Day 2006 on Māori Television

Māori Television began operations in 2004, and one of its early successes came with its all-day coverage of Anzac Day in 2006, with live reporting from ceremonies and historical documentaries. During the day, 215,000 people tuned in. Here the hosts for the day, former Television One newsreader Judy Bailey (left) and Māori Television journalist Wena Harawira, are shown after the press conference announcing the coverage.
