Te Ana ('The Cave') Māori Rock Art Centre in Timaru was opened by Ngāi Tahu Whānui in 2010. The museum provides a cultural interpretation, in a variety of media, of some of the most significant examples of Māori rock art. Tours to rock-art sites are also organised through the museum.
