The Wellington Writers' Walk includes poetry and prose by significant Wellington writers, inscribed in stone. This is an extract from a poem by James K. Baxter, 'The Maori Jesus'. Baxter was one of the poets who made Wellington a significant centre of literary life in the 1950s.
