Bobby Angus specialised in smart garments which were less formal than those made by labels like Trilby Yates and Ninette Gowns. Angus catered for a younger clientele of professional women who could afford to buy fashionable, well-made clothes. This is a two-piece suit and matching hat from 1948, modelled by L. J. Warren. The oversize collar, sleeve cuffs and pockets feature stripes on a contrasting angle.
