Kristian Fredrikson costume designs

A costume designer may need to sketch and illustrate a succession of sample designs before the final versions are made up. These beautiful designs were hand-drawn by Kristian Fredrikson for Royal New Zealand Ballet's productions of Swan lake.  Both are of costumes for the evil sorceror Baron von Rothbart – the one on the left was for the 2001 production, while the one on the right was for the 1985 production.
