Il trovatore libretto

Image
Il trovatore libretto

This libretto containing the lines and stage directions for Verdi's Il trovatore(The troubadour) was produced to coincide with William Saurin Lyster's production of 1864. It was a normal practice to make librettos available in English since performances were usually in Italian (even in the case of French or German works). It was performed in Dunedin and Auckland by the Lyster Company.
