Michael Rotohiko Jones (left) and Pei Te Hurinui Jones are photographed at the 1927 New Zealand Māori Lawn Tennis Tournament in Whanganui. The brothers were winners of the men's doubles, while Pei was the men's singles winner. Pei Te Hurinui Jones was one of the founding members of the New Zealand Māori Lawn Tennis Association alongside Āpirana Ngata and Taipōrutu Mitchell.
