Holiday games, Auckland, 1924

Auckland children play games in a holiday programme organised by the Playgrounds Association, in 1924. The games shown were also often played by children as spontaneous activities without adult supervision. Among the games shown are singing games 'Oranges and lemons' (photo 8) and 'Ring a rosy' (or 'Ring a ring o' roses') (photo 7).
