This map shows trade between New Zealand and European countries in 2010. The majority of goods (65% by value) exported to Europe were agricultural in origin: sheep meat, wool, dairy products, fruit and wine. From Europe, New Zealand imported cars, medicines, machinery, telecommunications equipment, transport goods and chemicals. Commercial services were 36% of total trade. Air and sea transport, the telecommunications market and tourism were service sectors of particular interest to New Zealand.
