161 Battery in action at Bien Hoa, 1965

New Zealand's 161 Battery was initially based at Bien Hoa, north of Saigon, where it was attached to an American artillery battalion, providing support to American and Australian units. In 1966 the Australian and New Zealand units at Bien Hoa were moved south to a base at Nui Dat.
