This whakapapa was sent in to the 19th-century Māori-language newspaper Te Puke ki Hikurangi. In this case the whakapapa traces the links Hiraka Tuhua, who had recently passed away, had to different tribes, including Rangitāne and Kahungunu. These links were often published in Māori newspapers during this period.
