Cervical screening poster

National cervical screening started in 1990. The purpose of screening is to identify cancer in the early stages, when it is more easily and successfully treated. This 1995 poster targets Māori women. The words 'Atawhaitia Te Wharetangata' refer to the need for Māori women to look after their reproductive health.
